Your Credit Pathby Jeannette Perez
CHAPTER 6 OF 7AT YOUR OWN PACE

Mail and keep a record

Prepare your packet and record the dates that matter.

In this chapter
  1. Check your packet
  2. Save your proof
  3. Record mailing and delivery dates

Check before you mail.

Review the complete letter, the recipient’s address and every enclosure. Follow the template checklist for each bureau. Keep your completed documents on your own device.

Keep a copy and proof.

Save the letter and attachments, then keep the mailing and delivery records with that account. Printing, postage and optional certified mail are separate costs.

Record the actual dates.

Enter the date you really mailed the packet in your dashboard. Record delivery separately. Your 35-day check-in is an organizational reminder, not a legal investigation deadline.

Reading a chapter does not record a mailing, change your account progress or unlock paid tools. Take each action when you are ready.
